The imagination is an endless source of wonderful stories. As I always say, “the problem with adults is that we have to see it to believe it. Kids believe it and then they see it.” It’s a wonderful thing. The next time you are stuck at home play “where are they going”. This works really well in the late afternoon when people are walking or driving by. Every time a car drives by or someone walks past your house ask you children where they are going. It starts with familiar places like school, library, park, airport and the pool. Eventually, especially with a little encouragement, it will turn into magical forests, talking waterfalls and a secret dog cave.
This is a great family activity for a lazy afternoon after school.
Note: works really well at airports, in line at bank and other places that require copious amounts of entertainment.
Dream big. Dream often….go to amazing places.
